Products: Urea, Ammonium Sulfate

These products are fast-acting, soluble, or readily available.  The nitrogen contents in these products range from 21 to 46 percent and are less expensive than a slow-release source.  They provide a rapid green-up response and should be applied at low rates to reduce excessive growth and burning.  Readily available or broken down by microbial activity.
