EPEC | Three E's Deliver Results

This premium, high-quality polymer-coated urea technology is engineered to deliver efficient, economical, and environmentally sound results.

A number of state agencies have recognized the effects of nitrogen loss either through volatilization or leaching and are limiting applications of nitrogen per acre and/or are requiring a certain percentage of slow-release. The controlled-release nitrogen technology of EPECâ„¢ is recognized as Enhanced Efficiency Fertilizer which reduces the potential loss to the environment through leaching or volatilization while maintaining turfgrass color and health.

Benefits of Polymer Coated Urea (PCU)

EPEC Longevities (avg. days of nutrient release)

60-Day

Targeted nutritional release used throughout the growing season; excellent replacement for PCSCU or stabilized nitrogen

90-Day

Provides long-lasting nutrition over targeted portions of the growing season

120-Day

Provides needed nutrition to turf or plants with longer growing cycles reducing the need for multiple applications

180-Day

Delivers consistent and reliable release of nutrition for up to six months

EPEC Features

  • Latest in advanced polymer-coated technology for consistent and reliable nutrient release
  • Reduced likelihood of growth flushes and burn
  • Release regulated by soil temperature and coating thickness
  • Nutrient release longevities for 60, 90, 120, and 180 days
  • Blended longevities allow for fewer applications at a property while still delivering healthy turf that customers demand
  • Environmentally responsible with lower potential for nutrient leaching, denitrification, runoff, or volatilization
