Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Reports To: Manager / Owner

Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate, high-energy Barista & Team Member to join our tight-knit crew. As a small, independent coffee shop, our team members do a little bit of everything—from crafting exceptional espresso drinks to creating a welcoming environment for our regulars. If you love coffee, thrive in a bustling neighborhood environment, and take pride in exceptional hospitality, we want to meet you!

Key Responsibilities
Craft Quality Beverages: Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso, pour-overs, teas, and seasonal specialties, adhering to our quality standards and recipes.

Deliver Great Hospitality: Welcome guests warmly, take accurate orders, answer questions about our menu (including pastry and food options), and ensure every customer leaves with a smile.
Maintain Shop Cleanliness: Keep the espresso bar, customer seating area, and restrooms clean, sanitized, and organized throughout the shift. Wash dishes and prep materials as needed.
Point of Sale (POS) & Cash Handling: Efficiently operate the register, process payments accurately, and handle cash drops according to shop policy.

Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. You should genuinely enjoy interacting with people.
Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, move quickly, and lift/carry up to 30 lbs (like milk crates or bags of coffee).
